Cry in the Dark has teamed up with Giveacar; a not-for-profit company that raises money for charity by accepting donations of unwanted cars. They will pick up any car, whether roadworthy or not, and either sell or scrap it, donating all the proceeds from the car’s sale/disposal to charity. Because the price of scrap metal is so high, no matter what car you donate, a minimum of £50 will be passed on to Cry in the Dark! Giveacar covers all administrative costs, so you can be sure that every penny of your car’s value will go to a good cause.

Giveacar operates nationally, and will organise to have any car collected at a time and place convenient to the owner. All cars are collected free of charge and all are disposed of safely and to the highest environmental standards. For more information please go to www.giveacar.co.uk.
